Mr. Romano grew up in Lombard and attended Christ the King Elementary School and Glenbard East High School. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, majoring in Psychology with a Sociology Minor. After several years, he went back to school to earn his Master's in Business Administration from Elmhurst University. He worked in the Investment Management field for the last 22 years, while also coaching for over a decade various sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and track & field. He has also been an active leader in the Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA program. He believes that children should explore as many areas of academic and athletic challenges as possible at the grade school level to discover that with some focus, hard work, and a little guidance they can overcome any obstacle. He is now the Athletic Director and Interim Physical Education teacher. He has had two sons graduate St. Pius X and his third son, Frankie, still attends.
