At St. Pius X Parish School, we believe that faith formation begins at home. When parents choose to have their children baptized, they take on the beautiful responsibility of nurturing their children's faith. This formation is fostered through parenting, extended family traditions, participation in the Eucharist at Mass, and the teaching of prayers, Catholic morals, and principles. Within the family, children experience the lived expression of faith, forming the foundation for their lifelong spiritual journey.

Our Religious Education program is designed to assist parents in this vital role by offering a structured, sequential curriculum that helps children deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith. Covering a variety of essential topics across all grade levels, the program ensures a comprehensive faith education that builds year after year. Regular participation is essential, as each grade introduces new elements of Catholic teaching, creating a rich and cohesive experience for your child.

A key part of this journey includes preparing students for the sacraments, milestones in their relationship with God and the Church. Through our program, children are prepared to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, usually during their second-grade year, and continue their faith journey toward Confirmation, typically celebrated in eighth grade. These sacraments are integral to their spiritual growth, providing them with the grace and strength to live out their Catholic faith as they mature.
