Mission

"Be it known to all who enter here, that Christ is the reason for this school.
He is the unseen but ever-present teacher in our classrooms.
He is the model for our faculty and the inspiration of our students."

Our Mission

To Restore All Things in Christ: We, the parishioners, parents, and faculty of St. Pius X Parish School freely accept the command to teach the Good News. As part of our Roman Catholic Parish Community, we are committed to developing each child's character, intellect, and identity to provide them with a foundation to live a life modeled on Jesus Christ.

Our Philosophy

It is our belief that in order to realize our full potential for success, St. Pius X Parish School must meet its responsibility to all associated with the school and to the community in which it operates. As a Catholic school, we recognize our parents' God-given responsibility as their children's primary and first educators. We accept our roles in assisting and supporting our parents in their task to prepare their children to live in a global society. We will honor the dignity of each individual and give each person the respect he/she deserves. We will nurture, challenge and shape each child's intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, moral, and social development. We will share Catholic values with one another while giving witness to them in our academic curriculum. We will strive to teach as Jesus taught. We, the School Board, faculty and staff, join with the parish community and with the parents of our students in support of this philosophy.

Living The Faith

St. Pius X Parish School is commanded to teach the Good News to our students. We are committed to develop each child's character, intellect, and identity and to provide them with a foundation to live a life modeled on Jesus Christ.

We prepare our students for the sacraments and celebrate weekly liturgies together. We pray together several times daily and come together to support one another in times of joy and sorrow. Most importantly, we encourage our students to develop a personal prayer life that brings them closer to Jesus.

Our students are inspired to serve our parish community and our civic community in countless ways throughout their years at St. Pius and beyond. We currently support the St. Vincent de Paul Society. We give our time, talent and treasure to support Catholic Relief Services, the Cancer Society for Research, Feed My Starving Children, Hoops for Troops and Volley for the Cure events, write letters to nursing home patients, and other worthy causes.

At St. Pius X Parish School, we are joining dedicated parents in their mission of inspiring children to have the confidence and vision to go out into the world and truly make a difference, with God on their side.

All Are Welcome

We joyfully welcome families and students of other denominations and faiths into our school community, and we do so with a strong commitment to continuing the work of the Gospel, to serving one another with all of our strength, and loving one another with all of our hearts.
