Mrs. Pohl has been teaching since 1983. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois - Champaign/Urbana and her M. A. in Administration from Lewis University. She has been teaching at St. Pius X for the past 34 years and has taught every grade from preschool through eighth grade. After receiving her masters, Mrs. Pohl became the Dean/Asst. Principal which she enjoys, and also still teaches junior high. Her love for teaching is reinforced by the enthusiasm the students bring into the classroom year after year, along with the parental support and encouraging staff at St. Pius X. Mrs. Pohl is a lifelong parishioner of St. Pius X as well as an alum. Mrs. Pohl's sons are both alumni of St. Pius. She finds each year at St. Pius X to be a uniquely rewarding experience.
