Mr. Velat ("Mr. V") has been at St. Pius since 2004, and he is proud to be a part of this great community of teachers, parents and students. Mr. Velat received his M.A. in music theory and composition from Roosevelt University in 2004. In addition to teaching at St. Pius, Mr. Velat owns and operates his own private lesson studio in Lombard. Mr. Velat is also a working musician and performance artist who performs nationally and internationally. He resides in Chicago with his wife and dogs.
